Each spring the School of Music
presents a formal recital featuring
music majors who have made outstanding
accomplishments in the area of
performance.
Students are selected to perform on the
Honors Recital by the Music Faculty
based on nominations by the applied
music faculty and then by an audition
heard by the full-time faculty of both
the instrumental and vocal departments
early on in the spring semester of each
year. Selection for participation on the
recital is based solely on the outcome
of the audition and the vote of the
faculty.
The Music Faculty consider it a high honor to
be chosen to perform and an event to which all
students of music should aspire.
