Saxophone Instructor
Brenda Moye is an adjunct
instructor of saxophone and music
media/technology at the Lee University School of
Music. Dr. Moye’s educational accomplishments
include D.M.A. and M.M. from the University of
Arizona and B.M. from the University of Miami,
where she was also inducted
into the Music Hall of Fame in 1999. Her
professional experience includes serving as
instructor to high school and college band and
orchestra members across the nation and
throughout much of Germany. She is a published
author and is currently in the process of
completing a music theory textbook. She is also
an avid composer currently working on a
publication of saxophone quartet music as well
as other original music. She has performed with
several Symphony and Philharmonic Orchestras
across the United States as well as Germany.
She is also a renowned recording artist. She
currently maintains an extensive freelance
performance career in addition to teaching and
private instruction.
