Harp Instructor
Laura Elder is an
adjunct instructor of harp at the Lee University
School of Music. Ms. Elder’s educational
accomplishments include B.A. in Music and M.M.
in Harp Performance from Ball State University.
She also obtained a M.A. in Celtic Studies from
the University of Toronto. Her professional
experience includes serving as an instructor of
harp in several different venues, including
Interlochen Arts Camp, Ball State University,
Southern Adventist University, and Lee
University. She has achieved and extensive
performance repertoire with several Symphony
Orchestras, Philharmonic Orchestras, and also
Chamber ensembles. She also maintains an active
freelance career of performance as well.
